The vineyards, situated in the townships of Colonnella, Ancorano, and Controguerra, are home to 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. Spanning across 25 hectares (approximately 62 acres), the grapes undergo a meticulous vinification process. This process involves gentle pressing and removal of stems, followed by maceration on the skins and fermentation for a duration of twenty days. The subsequent malolactic fermentation occurs in American barrique, and the aging process continues for six months. The resulting wine exhibits a deep, radiant ruby color with hints of purple. Its bouquet showcases remarkable intensity and richness, with aromas of ripe red fruit, amaretto cookies, marzipan, and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is smooth, flavourful, and complex, boasting velvety tannins, exceptional freshness, and a harmonious balance.
